Madaki Daffi Gadam Family Holds Annual Meeting, Emphasizes Education, Unity, and Development

The Madaki Daffi Gadam family held its annual meeting on Saturday, December 28, 2024, in the town of Gadam, at the premises of the Islamic school, Madarasatul Darul Qur’an Gadam.

The gathering was officially opened by Alhaji Abdulkadir Madakin Gadam, who expressed his joy at the turnout. He emphasized the importance of Qur’anic education and pledged support for initiatives focused on education, healthcare, and youth empowerment, including skills acquisition and entrepreneurship programs.

In a speech delivered by the Leader of the Descendants, M. Usman Abdu (Ya Maliko), he expressed happiness and offered prayers for blessings upon the family. He urged relatives to exercise patience and promote peace and love among themselves, both within and outside the family. He further commended the collective contributions and support provided by family members, especially their efforts in sustaining the growth and unity of the Madaki Daffi Gadam lineage.

Also in attendance was Major General Hassan, who praised the gathering for promoting education and skills development. He encouraged the youth to prioritize learning and capacity-building as tools for fostering unity and contributing to national growth.

Prominent speaker Malam Abdullahi Tafida provided a detailed account of the family’s history, highlighting its heritage and values to enlighten younger generations about their roots.

Meanwhile, Malam Ibrahim Aziya Gadam expressed gratitude for the large turnout and commended participants for their commitment to preserving family unity and traditions.

The event concluded with renewed commitments to community development and support for youth empowerment programs, underscoring the family’s dedication to progress, peace, and unity.

The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG), Gombe State Chapter, has expressed profound appreciation to stakeholders, policymakers, and citizens who participated in its one-day town hall meeting titled “Tax Reform Bill: A Catalyst for Economic Growth or a Burden on the People?”

The meeting, held in Gombe, brought together a cross-section of stakeholders, including government officials, business leaders, community representatives, and advocacy groups, to deliberate on the implications of the proposed tax reform bill.

In an appreciation letter released by the group, Comrade Muhammad Usman Deba, Coordinator of the CNG Gombe State Chapter, commended the attendees for their active participation and insightful contributions. He described the event as a resounding success, emphasizing its role in fostering inclusive dialogue on economic policies that affect the welfare of Nigerians.
