70-Year Wait Ends: Ali Garu Delivers Roads to Kangere and Zungur Communities

Ali Garu emphasized the importance of infrastructure development in enhancing the socio-economic well-being of his constituents.
The lawmaker assured that the project would be completed within the stipulated timeframe and to the highest standards.
According to him the roads is part of his ongoing efforts to address the infrastructure needs of his constituency and promote economic development in the area.
The Site Engineer, Nwankwo Christian Ebuka, said the projects is expected to be completed within three months.
He added that the road will include drainage on both sides for waterways.
Also speaking, the District Head of Galambi, Alhaji Shehu Adamu Jumba Dan Lawan of Bauchi, said the project will boost economic activities, improve safety, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents.
Alhaji Shehu Adamu Jumba commended Ali Garu, saying for about 70 years, they had been looking for the road.
Some residents of Kangere, Zungur and surrounding communities have expressed gratitude to Aliyu Garu for the project, which they believe will have a positive impact on their lives

Senator Buba Launches Free Fertiliser Distribution For Bauchi South Farmers

Senator Shehu Buba Umar of Bauchi South Senatorial District on Sunday flagged off the distribution of seven trucks of fertiliser to local farmers.
Speaking at the ceremony in Bauchi, Senator Buba said the initiative is designed to bolster agricultural productivity and enhance crop yields across the district.
He emphasised that this substantial investment underscores his commitment to food security and the economic well-being of Bauchi South’s farming communities.
Senator Buba thanked the distribution committee and urged them to ensure the fertiliser reaches genuine farmers fairly and transparently.
Many beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude to Senator Buba and pledged to use the fertiliser judiciously to maximize their yields.

Bauchi Reps Hon. Aliyu Aminu Garu Distributes Over 500 Solar Lights to Constituents

The Member representing Bauchi Federal Constituency, Hon. Aliyu Aminu Garu, has distributed over 500 solar-powered streetlights to various communities within his constituency.
Speaking during the distribution exercise, Hon. Garu stated that the initiative is part of his ongoing efforts to improve rural electrification, enhance security, and support small-scale businesses that operate at night.
He emphasized that the project addresses the challenge of inadequate lighting, particularly in underserved areas.
According to him, expanding access to solar energy will significantly enhance safety and promote socio-economic activities in both urban and rural communities.
Hon. Garu reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing people-centered initiatives that directly benefit his constituents.
Also speaking at the event, the PDP Chairman of Bauchi Local Government, Alhaji Inuwa Aliyu Durbin Inkil, commended the lawmaker for consistently making the party proud through impactful representation.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation, describing the gesture as both timely and impactful.
This intervention adds to a growing list of developmental projects facilitated by the lawmaker in recent years, including road construction, school renovations, provision of boreholes, educational support, and healthcare programs.

Hon. Mansur Soro Inspects New Water Scheme, Vows Continued Infrastructure Support

The lawmaker representing Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mansur Manu Soro, has provided a solar-powered water scheme with 1,000 meters of reticulation at the proposed Darazo-Ganjuwa College.
Speaking during an inspection visit to the project site yesterday, Hon. Soro stated that the water scheme is the sixth of its kind he has delivered to his constituents.
Other completed projects are located at Darazo near the motor park, Soro (Bayan Tashan Buhu), Miya (Unguwan Wudilawa), Sade (Unguwan Ashiru), and Tashan Gabi Soro, the latter of which is 75% complete.
He reaffirmed his commitment to delivering a minimum of 30 similar water projects one in each of the 22 federal wards by June 2027, despite existing challenges.
“To ensure the sustainability of these vital projects, we have established the Darazo-Ganjuwa Water Management Initiative and trained indigenous youths as water engineers, solar technicians, masons, and plumbers for the maintenance of the water infrastructure,” he said.
According to him, the 7th water scheme will continue at Sabon Kaura – Titin Fada in Soro, while the 8th and 9th phases will be sited in Darazo Central and Ganjuwa West respectively, areas currently facing severe water shortages.
Hon. Soro added that he would collaborate closely with stakeholders in the water sector across Darazo and Ganjuwa LGAs to achieve his goals within the set timeframe.
He also commended Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed for creating a conducive environment for intervention in critical sectors in the constituency.
