Former PDP Zonal Secretary, Kabiru Bappah Jauro, Dies at 60

The Gombe State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the passing of one of its prominent stalwarts, Honourable Kabiru Bappah Jauro. He died on Saturday evening at a Turkish Hospital in Abuja after a prolonged illness. He was 60 years old.

In a press statement signed by the party’s Public Relations Officer, A.A. Dukku, the PDP described the loss as painful but submitted to the will of Allah, saying, “Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un” (Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return).

Kabiru Bappah Jauro served as the immediate past Zonal Secretary of the PDP in the North East and was regarded as a dedicated party man who contributed significantly to the growth of the party in the region.

“Until his death, Kabiru was a committed and loyal party leader whose wisdom and political experience helped steer the affairs of the PDP in the North East. His absence will be deeply felt across the party structure,” the statement read.

Burial arrangements, according to the party, will be announced in due course.

The PDP in Gombe State extended heartfelt condolences to his family, political associates, and the entire PDP family, praying for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness upon his soul.

“May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Ameen,” the statement concluded.

Gombe LGA Leadership Pays Condolence Visit to Family of Late Muhammad Yusuf Gwamnati

The Chairman of Gombe Local Government Council, Barrister Sani AA Haruna, represented by his Deputy, Hon. Muhammad Adamu Manga, led a delegation on a condolence visit to the family of the late Muhammad Yusuf Gwamnati in Madaki Quarters, Gombe State.

The delegation included ward councillors from Nasarawo, Ajiya, Bajoga, Bolari East, Kumbiya, Shamaki, and Herwagana, among others, who came together to sympathize with the bereaved family and offer prayers for the deceased.

Speaking during the visit, Deputy Chairman Hon. Muhammad Adamu Manga conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the Council Chairman and the entire local government leadership. He described the late Muhammad Yusuf Gwamnati as a respected elder whose contributions to the community would be remembered.

“We pray that Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, grants him eternal rest, and admits him into Aljannatul Firdausi,” Manga said, urging the family to remain strong and take solace in the will of Allah.

Receiving the delegation on behalf of the family, Salisu Muhammad Yusuf, popularly known as Maitama 02, expressed deep gratitude to the Council representatives for their visit and prayers. He appreciated the support shown to the family in this time of grief, describing it as a reflection of unity and shared values in the community.

The condolence visit ended with a collective du’a for the deceased and for peace and comfort for the bereaved family.

Hajiya Dr. Fatima Binta Bello Condoles Family of Late Chief Superintendent Daniel Haruna Garba

The Chairperson of Shongom Local Government Council, Hajiya Dr. Fatima Binta Bello, has expressed her condolences to the family of Mr. Daniel Haruna Garba, a retired Chief Superintendent of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), who passed away recently at the age of 67.

Late Mr. Daniel Haruna Garba, who hailed from Lalapido Town in Shongom Local Government Area of Gombe State, is survived by nine children and eighteen grandchildren.

During her condolence visit to the bereaved family, Dr. Fatima Binta Bello described the death as a great loss and prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul. She urged the family to take solace in God’s will, emphasizing that life and death remain in the hands of the Almighty.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr. Danladi Haruna Garba, the immediate younger brother of the deceased, expressed gratitude to the Shongom Local Government Chairperson for her visit and kind words of comfort. He also commended her remarkable developmental efforts in Shongom Local Government within a short time, urging her to continue her good work for the progress of the community.

Alhaji Abdulkadir Hamma Saleh Pays Condolence Visit to Family of Late Alhaji Abubakar Dan-Gusau

The Hamma Saleh Memorial Foundation, under the leadership of its founder, Alhaji Abdulkadir Hamma Saleh, has extended condolences to the family of the late Alhaji Abubakar Dan-Gusau, who recently passed away.

Representing the Foundation during a condolence visit to the family at Yalanguruza Quarters, Gombe, Malam Isah Abba Mai Dallah Dallah conveyed the sympathies of Alhaji Abdulkadir Hamma Saleh. He offered prayers for Allah’s mercy upon the deceased and for Allah to grant him Aljannat al-Firdaus.

“We are here on behalf of Alhaji Abdulkadir Hamma Saleh to sympathize with you during this tragic time. We pray that Allah, in His infinite mercy, grants late Alhaji Abubakar Dan-Gusau eternal peace and a place in Aljannat al-Firdaus,” said Malam Isah.
