GOGIS Announces Phase II Documentation Exercise for Revoked Titleholders in Shehu Abubakar District

The Gombe State Geographical Information System (GOGIS) has announced the commencement of the second phase of its documentation exercise for revoked titleholders in the Shehu Abubakar District, formerly known as the BAP/4 Layout. The exercise is part of the Gombe Capital Special Development Zone Project and is being spearheaded by the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties and Regional Integration, Honourable Alhaji Shehu Yerima Abdullahi, in collaboration with the Director-General of GOGIS, Dr. Kabiru Usman Hassan.
The GOGIS Phase II implementation team is urging all individuals and entities with revoked titles in the Shehu Abubakar District to visit the agency’s Customer Service Centre for documentation. This applies to both developed and undeveloped plots.
Required Documents:
Titleholders are expected to bring the following:
1. The original and photocopies of all relevant title documents.
2. Two recent passport-sized photographs.
3. An acceptable means of identification, which can be a National ID, International Passport, Voter’s Card, or Driver’s License.
4. In cases where documents have been lost, titleholders must provide a Police Extract, a Court Affidavit, and a Newspaper Publication detailing the loss.

– Time: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (weekdays)
– Deadline: Monday, 30th September 2024
The exercise aims to ensure that all necessary documentation is updated, and the revocation process is fully compliant with the legal requirements of Gombe State’s ongoing development projects.
