Hon. Aliyu Aminu Garu Mourns Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi

The Member representing Bauchi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Aliyu Aminu Garu, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of world-renowned Islamic scholar and spiritual leader, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.
In a condolence message, Hon. Garu described the passing of the revered cleric as a monumental loss to the Muslim Ummah, Bauchi State, and Nigeria as a whole.
He noted that Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi devoted his entire life to the propagation of Islamic knowledge, spiritual guidance, and the promotion of peace and unity among Nigerians.
“Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi was a father to all, a beacon of Islamic scholarship, and a symbol of humility and discipline. His demise has created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill,” the lawmaker said.
Hon. Garu prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the Sheikh’s shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and comfort his family, students, and millions of followers across the world.

Alhaji Abdulkadir Hamma Saleh has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the eminent Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, who died on Thursday in Bauchi. His condolence message was directed to the bereaved family, the larger community of Islamic scholars, and the Bauchi State Government under the leadership of Governor Bala Muhammad (Kauran Bauchi).

He extended his condolences to Governor Bala Muhammad and the government of Bauchi State, noting that the state has lost one of its most respected leaders in the field of Islamic propagation and community development. Hamma Saleh praised the governor for the support and recognition given to the late Sheikh during his lifetime, which he said greatly contributed to the preservation of Islamic knowledge in the state.
He urged the family of the deceased to take solace in the impactful life Sheikh Dahiru lived—one marked by compassion, humility, and dedication to the betterment of society. He prayed for Allah to grant the late scholar eternal rest and reward him abundantly for his service to humanity.
“May the Almighty forgive his shortcomings, expand his grave, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and give his family and followers the strength to bear this immense loss,” Hamma Saleh prayed.
