Emir Of Potiskum Condole the people of Ngalda Town

Mai Pataskum Alhaji Umaru Bubaram Ibn Wuriwa Bauya OON FICEN ABSWA CP (RTD), extend his deepest condolences to the people of Ngalda town in Fika Local Government Area, as well as the traders who were affected by the recent banditry attack at the market.
This tragic incident has left many in sorrow, and the Emirate thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted.
Pataskum Emirate pray ALLAH (SWT) for mercy on the souls of those who tragically lost their lives, grant them eternal rest, and reward their good deeds.
For those who were injured, we pray that ALLAH grants them swift and complete recovery.

In another development The Yobe State Police Command has arrested a notorious armed robber who orchestrated an attack on the popular Ngalda Monday Market in Fika Local Government Area of the state.
According to Police report, the people of Ngalda Town mobilised and killed three of the robbers, while three others escaped with injuries. The attack, which occurred on Monday night, has left several people dead and many others injury.
The gunmen looted POS shops and stalls, making off with large sums of money and valuables.
According to a release from the Yobe state police public relations office, SP Dungus Abdulkarim, said on Monday, January 20th, a group of six armed robbers, led by Datti Alhaji Dadji of Ngalda Town, attacked three shops at Ngalda Market. “The incident resulted in seven fatalities and eleven injuries.
The robbers made off with approximately sixteen million five hundred thousand naira. “In response, the people of Ngalda Town mobilised and killed three of the robbers, while three others escaped with injuries. “The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) led a team of patrol officers to Alhaji Dadji’s house, where they recovered a locally made pistol with three cartridges. Alhaji Dadji was arrested and is currently in police custody, facing interrogation as the investigation unfolds. “The victims and corpses were evacuated to the General Hospital Fika for medical treatment and autopsy. “The Commissioner of Police, CP Garba Ahmed, has ordered an immediate investigation into the incident and called for calm.
He tasked personnel to arrest fleeing syndicate members and urged the public to assist the command with credible information. “The Command commiserates with the victims’ families and assures that the criminals will face the full wrath of the law,” the statement said. However, sources from Ngalda, one Alhaji Yau Mai Provision was killed in the attack, although the exact number of fatalities is still unknown.
The Ngalda Monday Market is one of the largest and busiest markets in Yobe State, attracting traders and customers from across the region.
The attack has sent shockwaves through the community, with many calling for increased security measures to protect the market and its patrons.

Hamma Saleh Mourns Kabiru Bappah Jauro, Extends Condolences to PDP Family and Dankwambo

Philanthropist and elder statesman, Alhaji Abdulkadir Hamma Saleh, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Alhaji Kabiru Bappah Jauro, a former North-East Zonal Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who passed away recently after a prolonged illness.
In a statement signed on behalf of the Gidauniyar Hamma Saleh Memorial Foundation and made available to journalists in Gombe, Alhaji Hamma Saleh commiserated with the deceased’s immediate family, the PDP family in Gombe State, the North-East, and Nigeria as a whole.
He described the late Bappah Jauro as a dedicated and principled politician who contributed immensely to the growth of the PDP and democratic development in the region.
The statement also extended heartfelt condolences to the leader of the PDP in Gombe State, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, as well as the entire party leadership and stakeholders in the state, urging them to take solace in the legacy the late chieftain left behind.
“The passing of Alhaji Kabiru Bappah Jauro is a significant loss not only to his family but to the PDP structure across the North-East and the country at large. We pray for Allah’s infinite mercy upon his soul,” the statement said.
The Foundation prayed to Allah to forgive his shortcomings, have mercy on him, and grant him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
Late Alhaji Kabiru Bappah Jauro died at the age of 60 and has since been laid to rest according to Islamic injunctions.

Former PDP Zonal Secretary, Kabiru Bappah Jauro, Dies at 60

The Gombe State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the passing of one of its prominent stalwarts, Honourable Kabiru Bappah Jauro. He died on Saturday evening at a Turkish Hospital in Abuja after a prolonged illness. He was 60 years old.
In a press statement signed by the party’s Public Relations Officer, A.A. Dukku, the PDP described the loss as painful but submitted to the will of Allah, saying, “Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un” (Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return).
Kabiru Bappah Jauro served as the immediate past Zonal Secretary of the PDP in the North East and was regarded as a dedicated party man who contributed significantly to the growth of the party in the region.
“Until his death, Kabiru was a committed and loyal party leader whose wisdom and political experience helped steer the affairs of the PDP in the North East. His absence will be deeply felt across the party structure,” the statement read.
Burial arrangements, according to the party, will be announced in due course.
The PDP in Gombe State extended heartfelt condolences to his family, political associates, and the entire PDP family, praying for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness upon his soul.
“May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Ameen,” the statement concluded.

Gombe LGA Leadership Pays Condolence Visit to Family of Late Muhammad Yusuf Gwamnati

The Chairman of Gombe Local Government Council, Barrister Sani AA Haruna, represented by his Deputy, Hon. Muhammad Adamu Manga, led a delegation on a condolence visit to the family of the late Muhammad Yusuf Gwamnati in Madaki Quarters, Gombe State.
The delegation included ward councillors from Nasarawo, Ajiya, Bajoga, Bolari East, Kumbiya, Shamaki, and Herwagana, among others, who came together to sympathize with the bereaved family and offer prayers for the deceased.
Speaking during the visit, Deputy Chairman Hon. Muhammad Adamu Manga conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the Council Chairman and the entire local government leadership. He described the late Muhammad Yusuf Gwamnati as a respected elder whose contributions to the community would be remembered.
“We pray that Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, grants him eternal rest, and admits him into Aljannatul Firdausi,” Manga said, urging the family to remain strong and take solace in the will of Allah.
Receiving the delegation on behalf of the family, Salisu Muhammad Yusuf, popularly known as Maitama 02, expressed deep gratitude to the Council representatives for their visit and prayers. He appreciated the support shown to the family in this time of grief, describing it as a reflection of unity and shared values in the community.
The condolence visit ended with a collective du’a for the deceased and for peace and comfort for the bereaved family.
